Changes!!
Hi there! This blog has undergone a bit of change this year! It is no longer the blog for 7th and 8th grade computers, but is now the home of Mrs. Pruitt's fifth grade class! I made a transition across the building and I am now teaching fifth grade homeroom and fifth grade Science. For those of you in my homeroom class, I will be teaching you Science, Spelling, and Language. For those of you in Mrs. Albrecht or Mrs. Pohlman's class, I will be teaching you Science. I am so excited to meet all of you and just know that we will have an awesome year! Feel free to contact me by email at kpruitt@northgreene.com

Busy, busy May!
Wow! It is May already! We have some exciting things going on at NGMS during the month of May. Monday, May 4, we had the Honors Track Meet. Tuesday, the seventh grade visited Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Wednesday, the eighth grade is taking a field trip to Hannibal, MO. We are also going to enjoy a play presentation on May 13 and the Nature Club also has a field trip coming up. The seventh and eighth grade also has end of the year trips the last week of May. The seventh grade will be visiting the Eight Wheeler and radio station in Jacksonville. The eighth grade will be off to Chicago!
Even though we have these fun activities going on and coming up, please concentrate on your homework and classes while we are still in session. Report cards will be coming out soon and we all need to earn great grades for the fourth quarter!!

Happy February

Wow! February is sure going by quickly! Just wanted to update the blog with a few things 7th and 8th grade are currently working on in computer class.
Both classes are finishing up their power point projects. They will be presenting them soon. They also did an Abraham Lincoln research activity and a Valentine's Day research activity. Seventh grade is also working on History journals. Don't forget to bring them to class! Have a good week!
